Megan was spotted arriving for the first day of filming for her upcoming movie Friends With Kids in New York City on Thursday (February 3). Megan was bundled up in a thick padded black jacket and fur lined boots as she was escorted down a sidewalk. Her hair was curled in waves and her make up was done with black eye liner and bright red lipstick. I’ve added 20+ of these candids to the Showroom. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Megan will be joining Jon Hamm & Kristen Wiig in Friends With Kids, an ensemble comedy from Jennifer Westfeldt. Westfeldt wrote the script and will star as well as produce with her partner Jon Hamm. She will also direct with Mike Nichols and Jake Kasdan, who are executive producing.

They have already casted Adam Scott and Kristen Wiig. The movie revolves around a pair of thirtysomething best friends who observe the toll that having kids has taken on the couples they know and resolve to bypass the stress by having a child and then date other people.

Scott and Westfeldt will play the lead couple; Wiig and Hamm will play another. A third couple has not been cast. Megan will play a girl who Scott begins to date.

Cinetic Media’s John Sloss, who is handling sales says:

It’s a very literate script and when Jen met with her, she thought Megan was spot on. When (Fox) picks the right part, she has tremendous value.

The movie is set to release theatrically in April of next year. From the sounds of it, it doesn’t seem that Megan will have a huge role in the movie but we can’t really say until we hear more information. In case you’ve headed over to imDB you’ve seen that Megan also has a movie titled Wish Wizard under her credits in which they also have Brian casted in. No confirmation on whether or not that is true or not. To be honest, it looks like a hoax to me. Pretty excited for Megan to get another movie role that’s for sure.

Good news hit the internet just on Sunday, reports that Megan’s upcoming movie Passion Play found a distributor in Image Entertainment. The acquirement happened in a 7-figure deal for one of the last pictures to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The deal includes a theatrical release component, not yet known if it will be wide released. The film will be distributed by Image Entertainment in the U.S. and Entertainment One in Canada.

Some other goodies for you guys, more scenes of Passion Play have been released by Trailer Addict. In the first clip Megan’s Lily is seen offering Mickey Rourke’s Nate a drink after he introduces himself to the circus freak.

In the second clip, Lily is seen given a diamond necklace by Bill Murray’s Happy Shannon though Lily initially refused it.

In the last clip, Nate is seen threatened by Happy while they sit together around the table of an eatery.

Megan arrived in Toronto, Canada on Thursday (September 9) with husband Brian Austin Green and his son Kassius. Megan is in town for the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her upcoming movie, Passion Play. The official film schedule on TIFF‘s site has Passion Play scheduled for 9PM tonight. A new movie still of Megan’s upcoming movie Passion Play with Mickey Rourke has hit the internet today. As well as an announcement that Passion Play will be making its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The film also stars Rhys Ifans, Kelly Lynch and Bill Murray who took over actor Toby Kebbell after he bailed on the role at the last minute. Mickey Rourke was quoted saying that Megan is probably the best young actress he’s ever worked with earlier this year. No official date for the movie’s US release has been announced yet. This is the first picture of Megan with her “wings” from this movie, must say they look awesome. I’ve added the movie still of Mickey & Megan to the Showroom. It has just been announced by Warner Home Video that Jonah Hex starring Megan, Josh Brolin and John Malkovich will be released on Blu Ray on October 12th in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. There’s few special features seeing as how the movie only made $10 million at the box office and didn’t do so well with critics. The speical features include:

• The Weird Western Tales of Jonah Hex
• Deleted Scenes

“I don’t think I’m hideous or unattractive,” actress Megan Fox  told “Extra” during a junket for her upcoming film, “Jonah Hex.” “I just like to pretend in my mind I’m more attractive than I am, so seeing pictures confirms I’m wrong.”

But Fox has no problem playing Josh Brolin’s sexy, gun-toting prostitute girlfriend in the new shoot ‘em up Western.

“I do like playing that because it’s nothing like what I actually am. I’m actually really vulnerable,” the actress admits.

Co-star Brolin has a theory on how Fox maintains her allure. “She’s not out drinking, going to rehab and doing all those things.”

Brolin also defends Megan against rumors that diva behavior cost her the “Transformers” gig — calling her a stand-up woman who “once in a while will say something that is so exploited and blown out of proportion that it makes us as readers perceive her as something that she’s not.”

“Jonah Hex” opens in theaters June 18.
